Town of Normal Internship

During my fall semester at ISU, I had the opportunity to work as a graphic design intern for Town of Normal. While there, I had mainly worked on a lot of social media graphics for the various pages that were run by the Town. All of these graphics were to commemorate a holiday or other national days. Besides social media graphics, I had also created a couple of fliers to promote “A Little Me Time” and hiring positions for summer camp. I also did a lot of work with editing preexisting designs to either make sizing changes, or to make necessary information updates.

Overall, working with Town of Normal was a very rewarding experience. It helped me learn about expectations in the professional world of graphic design, and what I will need to bring to the table.
